Hybrid Chilli

• Jalapeno, early maturing 70-75 days
• Excellent yield of high quality fruit with very thick wall
• Fruit are firm, uniform and dark green
• Tolerant to crazing
• Continuous pick, ideal for fresh markets
• Resistance: BLS Races 1-3
• Scoville rating typically 2,500 – 3,500.

Hybrid Chilli – Serrano type

• Vigorous plant
• Produces an abundance of uniform, heavy fruit with excellent shelf life
• 10 weeks to maturity from transplant
• Scoville: 3,500 – 6,000
• Fruit colour – green to red.

Hybrid Habanero Chilli

• Uniform, large fruit on a vigorous plant
• Very pungent and aromatic
• Fruit are medium bright red in colour
• Traditional lantern shape
• 12 weeks maturity from transplanting
• Colour retentions is excellent
• Suitable for fresh market or processing.

Serrano. A semi-indeterminate plant type which produces an abundance of uniform, heavy chillis that have an excellent shelf life.  Very dark green turning red at maturity. Scoville: 3,500 – 6,000.

Hot cherry type.

Turning green 75 days from transplant and red 85 days.  Provides good cover and high yields. Medium wall thickness.  Sweet taste followed by intense heat.

Jalapeno. High yielding dark green fruit – will not purple (anthocyanin). Shows some tolerance to cracking.  Adaptable under a range of conditions.  Scoville: 3,500 – 6,000.
